Mermaid 1

Mermaid 1 is a piece of a 3-part series I made for my first solo art show in West Hartford in 2018. They were made with watercolor on aquaboard, then ink was added after they dried - following paths of watercolors. These pieces have all felt so optimistic and joyous to me. Like they carry the open feeling in my studio of adventure and love. Nothing makes me happier!

Mermaid 1 arrives framed and ready to hang or sit on a flat surface.

Measurements: 6x6" aqua board in a 8-3/8" square frame that is 1/2" deep and can either hang or sit on a flat surface with the kickstand open (making it about 5" deep).
